چکیده
A complete thermo-economic analysis on a cutting-edge Power-to-Gas system that comprises innovative technologies (a Solid Oxide Electrolyte Cell co-electrolyzer and an experimental methanator) coupled with renewable generator is provided in this study. The conducted economic (which has never been applied to typology of system) aimed at the estimation synthetic natural gas cost product through cash flow analysis. Various plant configurations—with different operating temperatures pressure levels key components (electrolyzer: 600–850 °C; 1–8 bar)—are compared identify possible thermal synergies. Parametric investigations are performed, assess both effect thermodynamic arrangements boundary conditions. Results show combination ambient synergy between high-temperature methanator presents best performance (up 8% lower value). production obtained by solutions study 80% than price) could become competitive market, if some techno-economic driving factors (proper size ratio storage generation, electrolytic cell developments introduction carbon tax) considered.
